Welcome to the Cyculator Application web site.
The Cyculator is a Symbian based application that runs on UIQ2.1 (Sony Ericsson P800/P900/P910) and Series 80 (Nokia 9300/9500) phones. The Cyculator performs the following functionality.
| Gear Ratios | Calculates gear ratios for the specified ranges of Chain Rings and Sprockets |
| Spoke Lengths | Calculates spoke length for specified sizes of Rims/ Hubs |
| Fixed | Calculates Chain ring and sprocket combinations for specified chain stay lengths. Useful if you wish to fit a single gear onto a frame with vertical dropouts. |
All the formulas used by this program have been thoroughly tested (against other known formulas) and are known to be accurate. However the results generated rely on the user measuring the rims, hubs and chain stays accurately. Therefore I'm afraid I put a disclaimer on the product stating that the data is for reference only and the user assumes all responsibility and risks.
